Key experience
Acted for a shareholder in a joint venture dispute involving directorship and shareholding of a Singapore holding company whose ultimate asset is a nickel mine in Indonesia, including successfully striking out claims in the Singapore High Court.
Advised an Indonesian listed company in the e-commerce sector in a dispute relating to its investment and shareholding in a technology company.
Acted as counsel in an international arbitration under the SIAC rules for a shareholder of a regional F&B and lifestyle group in a shareholder dispute and minority claim valued at approximately S$100 million, successfully resisted an emergency arbitration application.
Successfully obtained a worldwide freezing order and receivership order in aid of enforcement of foreign arbitral awards on behalf of a multinational food packaging and processing group.
Represented a client in the Singapore International Commercial Court in ancillary proceedings arising out of a breach of trust claim, including defending an anti-suit injunction and contempt of court proceedings.
